Do I need a PWC license to drive the Jet Ski / PWC?

Yes you do, for SELF HIRE and DAY HIRE you must hold a current PWC license which must be kept with you at all times whilst operating the PWC / Jet Ski.


How do I get my PWC license?

Please note there is two parts to the Boat /PWC license, the knowledge test and practical boating experience part. You must have both parts complete before you obtain your Boat / PWC license from RMS.

What are your Opening Hours?

We are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and extended operating over the summer holidays. For mid-week bookings please contact us directly. First booking is 8am and last booking is 4pm depending on how many hours you would like to hire the Jet Ski (s) and depending on the time of sunset. We operate from Spring to Autumn.

How do I book a Jet Ski?

Click the BOOK ONLINE tab and select the type of service you are after with the amount of time you would like, then call us to book secure your time and date. Alternatively contact us via phone or email from our CONTACT page.

How far in advance do I need to book?

24 hours is prefered for bookings. Or for phone bookings must call the day before in operating hours of 8am and 4pm. No refund given for less than 2 days’ notice of cancellation, but can reschedule once only from original time / day.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session time for a briefing, if arrive late the time will be taken from your riding time and/or service.

Do I need to sign a waiver / Rules of use?

Yes, everyone who uses our services will need to read and sign our waiver forms before commencement of any of the services. The 15-minute safety briefing is essential for everyone, even if you have hired off of us before.

How old must I be to drive / hire a Jet Ski / PWC?

You must be 18 years of age or older and hold a current non-restricted PWC license and obey all maritime laws whilst operating a Jet Ski / PWC.

The responsibility of the passengers remain with the hirer / driver of the Jet Ski.

What if it is bad weather on the day?

If there are predicted storms, heavy rain, strong winds then a reschedule service can be arranged. No refunds given for bad weather. The ultimate decision for the hire or reschedules will be at the discretion of the Play Hard Jet Ski Hire crew.

Where do I meet on the day?

For all SELF HIRE experiences you need to meet 15 minutes before your allocated time at Kyeemagh Reserve, Kyeemagh NSW 2216 unless otherwise discussed when booking.
